Coleen on “This Morning”

This week was a big one! My sister Coleen appeared (with me standing just behind the cameras) on This Morning with Phil and Holly, and I could not be more proud of her.

Sitting there under the studio lights, she spoke with such honesty, courage and grace about some of the experiences she’s been through. Ten minutes might not sound like much, and there’s only so much you can say in that time, but every word mattered. She managed to capture the heart of our story and the reality of what so many victims of similar crimes face every day.

One of my favourite moments was when Phil held up our book for everyone to see, a small gesture that meant so much. It’s more than just a book to us; it’s a piece of our lives and we hope it becomes a lifeline for others who might see their own story in its pages.

Our hope has always been that by speaking out, we can raise awareness, help others spot the red flags sooner and show that there is a way through even the darkest chapters.

Coleen did all that and more in those few short minutes. She was simply fabulous.
