Dragonfly Cancer Trust Ball: A Few Emotional Wobbles

What a night! We recently had the absolute pleasure of attending the Dragonfly Cancer Trust Ball, taking some wonderful friends along for an evening of glamour, generosity and, as it turned out, a fair bit of emotional mascara management.

And what an evening it was.

The stories shared were incredibly moving, the choir was phenomenal and the food was absolutely sumptuous. There was laughter, there were tears and there was that wonderful feeling of being in a room full of people determined to make a difference.

Most importantly, a fantastic amount of money was raised for a charity that does truly extraordinary work.

I'm so proud that, through sales of Where There's a Wheel, There's a Way and our fundraising efforts, we're able to support the Dragonfly Cancer Trust. It's a cause very close to our hearts and evenings like this remind us exactly why we do what we do.

We arrived dressed to impress, had our heartstrings thoroughly tugged and left feeling incredibly grateful to have been part of something so special.

A fabulous night for a truly fabulous cause. And proof that a good knees-up can do a whole lot of good.
