Quiz Night Victory at Field & Fodder in Bearpark

We rounded off the weekend with a trip to Field & Fodder in Bearpark for their monthly quiz night - and honestly, I can’t rave about this place enough. The atmosphere is always spot on, and the fabulous owners, Chloe and Aki, make everyone feel so welcome.

Now, Ryan and I usually do fairly respectably in a quiz, we’re not exactly bottom-of-the-table types, but winning? That’s a rare event.

This time, though, we joined forces with a couple of very sharp quizzers… and somehow, victory was ours.

I’d like to say it was a full team effort, but my encyclopaedic knowledge of chocolate bars had its moment to shine. That, and knowing that Tan Hill is the highest pub in Britain - a fact I’m unlikely to forget, mainly because I nearly lost my wig to the wind up there. Worth it though. Cracking place.

All in all, a brilliant afternoon - good company, plenty of laughs, and a win to top it off. We’ll be back to defend our title… or at least give it a good go.
