Progress is slow - snail's pace!

Writing Playing with Fire has been a real labour of love, emphasis on labour! The editing process has felt a bit like a never-ending game of literary ping-pong, with the manuscript bouncing back and forth between us and our editor more times than I can count.

Coleen and I have gone over every line, every chapter, making sure we’re telling our story in the best, clearest, and most powerful way possible. This isn’t just any book, it’s our story, so it has to be right. Not “perfect” by anyone else’s standards, but perfect to us.

It’s taken time, patience and probably enough tea to fill a swimming pool, but we’re almost there. The finish line is in sight, and we can’t wait to share the final version with you soon.
