Happy 3rd birthday - Featherbed Books!

Last Saturday, I had the absolute joy of attending the third birthday celebration at Featherbed Books, one of my all-time favourite independent bookshops. I adore this place. It's warm, it’s welcoming, and it's got every genre bookworms want to devour.
Not only do I attend their in-person book club every other Tuesday (always a treat), but the shop is run by Nicole and her lovely mum, two lasses who are as passionate about books as anyone you’ll ever meet. They’re the kind of people who can chat about stories for hours and still leave you wanting more.
Shops like Featherbed Books are more than just retail spaces. They are havens, soul-soothing places in a chaotic world. They anchor our towns, make our high streets feel human again, and provide us with the chance to discover our next favourite read while supporting real people, not algorithms.
Plus, if you're after a book bargain, trust me, you’ll find one here. Or five. Probably ten.
So here’s to Featherbed Books - long may you continue to thrive (and tempt me to buy just one more every time I walk through the door).
