Last Saturday we had the absolute pleasure of hosting one of our authors, Natasha Robinson, for her book launch at Electric Beacon Books of her stunning poetry collection Words from the Soul.

Natasha is an extraordinary young woman. At just sixteen, and living with drug-resistant epilepsy, she channels her experiences into poetry with a depth and honesty far beyond her years. Her writing isn’t just beautiful, it’s meaningful, offering comfort, understanding and connection to others who may be facing their own challenges. Alongside this, she works closely with the Daisy Garland epilepsy charity, raising awareness and supporting such an important cause.

The event itself was incredibly well attended, with a real buzz in the room. We were also honoured to welcome local poet Demelza Dhotel, who spoke so warmly about Natasha’s talent and the impact of her work.

There truly wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Natasha read her deeply moving poem about her grandfather. It was one of those moments that reminds you exactly why books, and words, matter.

All of us here at Crear Publishing couldn’t be prouder.

Well done, Tash - you really are an inspiration.
