North East Indie Book Fest – It’s Almost Here!

In a move that can only be described as ambitious-slash-mildly-unhinged, Crear Publishing has helped bring the first-ever North East Indie Book Fest to life, and it’s happening THIS Saturday!

Yes, that’s this Saturday. As in, only five sleeps away. As in, HOW DID THAT HAPPEN SO FAST?

We're buzzing to bits about it. So many brilliant people are coming together for a wonderful afternoon of networking, author talks, bookish banter, and, very importantly, cheese and wine.  (Because no great literary movement was ever launched over dry crackers and a glass of Adam's ale.)

We’ve also got a raffle packed with brilliant prizes, and every penny raised will go to Women’s Aid Newcastle, an incredible cause that’s very close to our hearts. My twinnie, Coleen, will be the keynote speaker at their upcoming 50th anniversary celebration, and I couldn’t be more proud if I tried. She’ll probably make everyone cry but hopefully in a good way.

This event is shaping up to be something truly special, and we’d love to see you there. Come for the books, stay for the craic.
