Working With New Authors

Things are buzzing here at Casa Crear, and no, that’s not just the sound of Ryan panicking about deadlines. Through Crear Publishing, the two of us are getting to work with an absolutely brilliant collection of authors. Honestly, the talent these writers have… it makes me want to sit up straighter and pretend I’ve done my proofreading pile before the kettle boils.

Now that we're working with new authors I’ve been reading through many manuscripts recently and keep finding myself muttering things like “bloody hell, that’s good” into my mug of tea. The imagination, the humour, the heart - I’m blown away. There’s something really special about being part of someone’s journey from Word Document to Proper Published Book, especially when those books are this good.

2026 is shaping up to be an absolute belter. I cannot wait to get these fabulous stories out into the world, and into your hands. Watch this space, folks. Very exciting things are brewing (and for once it isn’t just my Yorkshire tea to accompany my custard creams).
