<p>Should be hearing any day now when the documentary will be aired on channel 4. We have been told it will be some time in October. Wee bit nervous of it being out in the world but hopeful that it will help many people and with  luck help sell some books which in turn will [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The older I get the younger I feel. Let me explain what I mean. Yes, my body is decrepit and every day something else seems to be aching and falling apart but my mind seems to be more frivalous and up for fun and adventure than it ever was. I don&#8217;t know if it has [&hellip;]</p>

<p>My Christmas novella is well underway! It&#8217;s a modern comical spin on one of my favourite books &#8211; Charles Dicken&#8217;s A Christmas Carol (as that&#8217;s never been done before :)) I&#8217;m really loving writing it and hoping to have it out in the world very soon! <p>Coleen is talking to an American company who produce a true life podcast series and they&#8217;re hopefully interested in covering our story. It&#8217;s an incredibly successful series so far so fingers crossed we could be get our story out Stateside soon!!</p>

It is the much anticpated &#8220;Evelyn Weaver is a Later Life Diva.&#8221; It&#8217;s great fun to write about an older character. Just because we get older doesnt mean we lose our sense of fun or adventure and nor should we. I am [&hellip;]</p>

<p>&#8220;Lila Glover Wants a Lover&#8221; is out now! Laugh along with Lila&#8217;s disastrous dating life and see if she ends up winning Seb&#8217;s heart. It&#8217;s a light hearted read that will have you in stitches.</p>

It will focus on Lottie&#8217;s mum Evelyn and her decision to not allow growing old to mean she must quietly fade into obscurity. She decides to shake things up. <p>Our story is being featured in a documentary series. Our episode is being aired on 1st May 2024, with all episodes being available to stream from 17th April. It&#8217;s complelling viewing. However I shall not be watching as have no desire to see my double chins in widescreen 🙂 It&#8217;s going to raise awareness and [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The follow-up book to Playing with Fire is out on 14th February. A nice little Valentine&#8217;s warning to all singletons out there! It is available for pre-order now and tells the story after &#8220;James&#8221; was sent to prison. It turns out our story was very far from over!</p>

<p>Have decided on the book cover for book 2 in the Teapots &amp; Tequila shots series &#8211; &#8220;Lila Glover wants a Lover.&#8221; The book is coming along well and hoping it will be available March 2024.</p>

<p>Had a chance to watch both of the documentaries know. It&#8217;s a bit daunting knowing that they will be airing next year. Hated to see myself on screen without the opportunity to have the camera being held as high as possible to avoid being &#8220;Sheila fat face.&#8221; Nope I am in widescreen with about four [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Working hard on PWF 2. Don&#8217;t have a working title for it yet so will have to brainstorm that at some point. We are about a third of the way through writing it, it&#8217;s amazing how much more there was to tell of the story. Drinking plenty of mugs of tea and eating masses of [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Happy Halloween everyone! I&#8217;m currently curled up reading &#8220;Victorian Gothic&#8221; by D R Miller. Not my usual genre to read but perfect for a gloomy Halloween binge. It&#8217;s so atmospheric and the writing is beautifully descriptive as well as being pretty damn scary too! Might not sleep tonight.</p>

<p>The follow up book to Playing with Fire &#8211; The true story of Fireman Scam is well under way. I am working on it most days with Coleen over the telephone. Getting to catch up with her in person tomorrow so really looking forward to that. Will be great to go out for lunch and [&hellip;]</p>

<p>My book has now been out for nearly a week and people seem to really enjoy it (phew). Now need to get back to writing the second book in the Teapots &amp; Tequila shots series &#8211; Lila Glover wants a lover. Hopefully it will be released in the next few months.</p>
